| I haven't rebuilt lifters, so I'll just shut up. :-) But for sure you are smart to ask because if they are not right, they'll hold those damn valves open and you're car will never even start because you'll have no compression... I've got a complete set of lifters (that were working) but ticking - so I'm interested to see the responses as I'd like to rebuild them for fun some time. I just bought new ones and dropped them in. Worked...perfectly... I was afraid if I did the lifter rebuild wrong, even on just ONE lifter, I'd have no compression in a hole. And that'd suck. It's a process that has zero room for error.
